Peterborough United entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers in the first home pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

Peterborough United face Championship new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers in the first pre-season friendly at London Road this evening (7.45pm).

Darren Ferguson's men returned to the country after a week-long training camp in Portugal over the weekend and moved into their training complex at Nene Park Academy on Monday.

Kenny Jackett's Wolverhampton Wanderers side will provide a stern test for Posh after winning League One last term and have added several new players to their squad.

Former Posh skipper Tommy Rowe was in line for a quick return to London Road, but broke his toe in the first pre-season friendly and is expected to be on the sidelines for four weeks.

Ferguson has a fully fit squad to choose from for the game as preparations continue for the season opener at Rochdale on Saturday 9th August.

Admission prices have been set at £12 for adults, £10 for over 60s and 18-21-year-olds and £5 for under 18s.

Fans are advised that there are a number of access issues this evening. Oundle Road is currently closed at the approach to London Road and is set to be closed until Wednesday morning.

Access for supporters attending the pre-season friendlies at London Road in the South Stand will be from Glebe Road only. Supporters with tickets/smart cards for the lower tier can use the upper tier turnstiles and vice versa.
