Posh head to the County Ground on Saturday for a Sky Bet League One fixture (3pm).

Peterborough United travel to the County Ground on Saturday to face Swindon Town in Sky Bet League One (3pm) knowing that a victory over the Robins would extend the advantage over their rivals to eight points.

The Robins, managed by former Posh boss Mark Cooper, are in ninth place in the table and include ex-Posh loanee Alex Pritchard in their starting line-up.

Nicky Ajose also has connections with Town, having spent a loan spell at the club in the first part of the campaign. Midfielders Tommy Rowe and Danny Kearns are fit after injury, but Craig Alcock remains sidelined with a calf injury.

Darren Ferguson commented: 'It is good to have Tommy and Danny back. One has been out for six weeks and the other seven weeks, so it is great to have them back into the squad and they will definitely play some part.

'We played Swindon on the opening day and they are a good side and they have improved since then. They are a good footballing team and it will be a difficult game for us, but we know that we have to try and build a bit of momentum,' Ferguson said.

Swindon have completed the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion striker George Barker on an 18-month contract. The 22-year-old, who joins for an undisclosed fee, played two games on loan at Newport County this term. He has made four substitute appearances for Albion, and just one this season.

Posh had sold just under 200 tickets for the game at the County Ground. Posh fans can pay at the turnstiles.
