The Posh under 18s entertain Arsenal in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup at London Road on Monday evening (7pm).

On Monday evening, the Peterborough United under 18s entertain Premier League side Arsenal in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup (7pm).

The tie, which takes place at London Road, is reward for Gavin Strachan's men, who have already beaten Notts County, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Hull City away from home in the competition.

Academy Manager Dave Robertson said: 'It is a fantastic tie for the youngsters and one they are looking forward to. I have watched Arsenal myself and we know that they are a very good side and there will be times in the game where they have a lot of possession of the football, but we will work hard to make ourselves hard to break down.

'We have lads in the group that have represented their country and some that have been involved in the first team and I do believe we have a lot of ability in the dressing room.

'It would be fantastic to see a lot of Posh fans at London Road for the game. I am sure it will be a very entertaining game with both sides playing football in the right way,' Robertson said.

Admission to the game is just £3 for adults and £1 for concessions with tickets on sale in advance at www.theposhtickets.com, via the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and in person at the London Road Box Office.

Fans are able to pay on the night with the lower tier of the South Stand and the North Stand open for the fixture.

If the scores are level on the night, extra time and penalties will be required to settle the contest.
