Posh host Colchester United at London Road on Saturday (3pm).

Peterborough United entertain Colchester United at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm) in Sky Bet League One action.

Darren Ferguson's men are seeking a third successive home league win after victories over Tranmere Rovers and Notts County last week, but the U's arrive in good form under boss Joe Dunne.

Posh are sweating on the fitness of defender Mark Little who has a shoulder injury, while Lee Tomlin is suspended. Conor Washington has received international clearance and is available for selection following his move from Newport County.

Ferguson said: 'Colchester are very difficult to break down away from home. They have only lost three on the road all season and picked up a very good win at Carlisle United, which I have watched on DVD this week. We know all about the threats they can cause, but as always, we are concentrating on what we can do.

'We were disappointed that the game at Sheffield United was postponed, so hopefully Saturday's game will be on and we can continue the recent decent home form,' Ferguson said.

Tickets are on sale at www.theposhtickets.com, via the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and in person at the London Road Box Office.

The football club will inform supporters of any planned pitch inspection.
