Posh host Swindon Town in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Section Area Final at London Road.

Peterborough United entertain Mark Cooper's Swindon Town at London Road on Wednesday evening (7.15pm) in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Section Final first leg.

Darren Ferguson's men are just two games away from the final at Wembley Stadium with the Robins standing in the way.

It will be the third meeting between the two sides with Posh claiming a 1-0 win at London Road on the opening day of the campaign and Swindon recording a recent 2-1 success at the County Ground.

Posh boss Ferguson confirmed that all members of his available squad are fit, but he is without the services of Nicky Ajose, Conor Washington and Jack Baldwin who are all cup-tied. Kyle Vassell is in line to partner Britt Assombalonga in attack.

Ferguson said: 'At the start of the season, we earmarked this competition as one that we wanted to be successful in and we are now two games away from Wembley Stadium. Swindon will be tough opposition, we know that having played them twice already, but we are all looking forward to the tie.

'After two postponements in a week, we are all pleased to be playing football again and we look to go into the second leg with an advantage,' Ferguson said.

Supporters are reminded that the game kicks-off at 7.15pm and that tickets are cheaper if purchased before midnight on Tuesday.

Fans can buy tickets at www.theposhtickets.com, via the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and in person at the London Road Box Office.

There will be a period of silence before kick-off as a mark of respect for Olly Conmy who sadly passed away recently.
