Posh have completed the loan signing of Josh McQuoid in a loan deal until the end of the season.
Peterborough United have completed the loan signing of Bournemouth's versatile attacker Josh McQuoid on a loan deal until the end of the campaign.
McQuoid, who can operate in a number of attacking positions, will go straight into the squad for Friday night's fixture with Walsall.
The 24-year-old is a Northern Ireland international and has spent time away from the Cherries at Burnley and Millwall.
He is eligible to play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area final on Monday night.
Darren Ferguson said: 'Josh is a player that can operate as a number nine or a number 10 and he can also operate in wide areas. He has good experience of his league after helping Bournemouth get promotion and he is a player that we actually knew about and tried to sign before he moved to Millwall.
'He has good pace and I think we needed that added to our squad. Conor Washington showed on Saturday that he can make an impact. Josh is a nice lad, he has not played many games this season, but he is here to make an impact and gives us good competition for places,' Ferguson said.
