Do you think you are the best at FIFA14? Why not prove it?

Do you fancy yourself as the best at FIFA14 amongst your friends? Why not put that confidence to the test by entering the Peterborough United charity FIFA14 tournament?

The club are hosting two events, one for XBOX users and one for PlayStation users to determine who really is the best in the city.

The PlayStation event will take place on Sunday 27th April (4pm-10pm) with the XBOX event taking place in the Caroline Hand Executive Suite on Saturday 5th April (4pm-10pm).

Entry per tournament is £10 per person with all proceeds going towards the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice.

Trophies and prizes will be available on the night and the winner of each tournament will also get the chance to test their skills against the winner of the in-house player tournament.

Organiser Dave Farrell said: ‘In my household, it gets very competitive where FIFA14 is concerned - everyone thinks they are top dog. If you think you are the best in the city, why not prove it? In aid of Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, one of the club’s chosen charities and one that is close to my heart, I am running the London Marathon this April and have put together this special event to help raise funds and reach my target.

‘This inaugural tournament will take place at London Road, with the Playstation tournament on 27th April after the XBOX tournament on 5th April. There will be trophies and prizes on the evening and also the chance to play the winner of the hugely competitive Posh player FIFA competition.

‘Judging by the response on Twitter since announcing the tournament, I am sure it will be a hugely competitive evening. I am looking forward to seeing people in action as they have speaking a very good game!

'I have had confirmation from Danny Swanson that he will be taking part in the Playstation tournament so if you think you can beat a player at his own game, get your booking form in quickly!'

To enter the competition, you can download the PDF below and return the form with the enclosed entry fee to London Road or pick up a form from Main Reception or the Club Shop at London Road. A full list of the rules and regulations for the tournament is also available as a PDF.

The football club are delighted to have GAME in Springfields, Spalding on board to offer their expertise and they have also kindly donated the consoles and the two FIFA 14 games on both consoles.
