Hundreds of youngsters partied the night away at the Junior Posh Christmas Party.

The 2014 Junior Posh Christmas party has been hailed a success by organisers following an impressive turnout at the ABAX Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Members were able to meet the entire first team squad, obtain autographs and have pictures with their heroes before coming face to face with Santa Claus who was on hand to give out special goodie bags, which included Junior Posh branded hats, wristbands, chocolate and much more.

Peter Burrow was present to entertain youngsters and parents alike while festive tunes ensured the dancefloor was full throughout the night.

The mini-Skip challenge was a huge success while the Hula-Hoops kept everyone with smiles on their faces and that was before Peter Burrow danced to Gangnam Style.

Junior Posh co-ordinator Phil Adlam said: 'It was a great to see so many members attending the event and hopefully they will spread the word to encourage more to sign up to Junior Posh. The players all commented on how polite the youngsters were as they went around the function rooms.

'Events like these are only successful down to the help of the staff who gave up their time to assist, so huge thanks go to Emma, Liz, Alicia, Mary, Steve, Dawn, Ben, Vash and all of the hospitality staff at the ABAX Stadium.

'I would also like to thank Peter Burrow, the players and of course Santa Claus for attending.'

You can view a video from the event on the Posh YouTube page and a picture gallery will be available to view on theposh.com in the next few days. You will be able to purchase photos from the event at www.theposhpics.com in the next few days too.
