Members of the Peterborough United squad and management visited the Children's Ward at the Peterborough City Hospital on Monday afternoon.
A number of the Peterborough United first team squad, assistant manager Gary Breen, club mascot Peter Burrow and Mick the Skip from sponsors Mick George visited the Amazon Children's Ward at the Peterborough City Hospital on Monday afternoon.
Michael Smith, Gabriel Zakuani, Kgosi Ntlhe, Jermaine Anderson, Joe Newell, Marcus Maddison, Jon Taylor and Aaron Mclean spent time with youngsters in the ward and distributed presents which have kindly been donated to the football club.
The football club also provided teddy bears for everyone on the ward while the hard-working nurses were not forgotten either. Our sponsors Mick George kindly donated footballs which have been signed by the Posh players for the youngsters too.
Chief Executive Bob Symns accompanied the Posh players and management during the visit and you will be able to watch footage on Christmas Day by visiting the club's official YouTube page.
We will bring you more reaction from the visit on theposh.com on Tuesday.
