Posh head to Leyton Orient on Saturday in Sky Bet League One action (3pm).

Peterborough United travel to Brisbane Road on Saturday in Sky Bet League One action with out of form Leyton Orient providing the opposition for Darren Ferguson's men.

The O's have had another challenging week with former Italy international Fabio Liverani has replaced Mauro Milanese as manager. Milanese was in charge for only eight matches, presiding over only two wins.

He will revert to his previous role of sporting director - a position he was given in August following Francesco Becchetti's takeover of the east London club.

Liverani, who had a seven-match spell in charge of Genoa last year, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract. The 38-year-old has brought in Marcello Donatelli as assistant manager and Maurizio Cantarelli as fitness coach.

Posh go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at Colchester United in the second round of the FA Cup, but could climb back into the play-off positions with a victory against the O's.

Darren Ferguson is without the services of Jack Baldwin and Jon Taylor due to injury, but welcomes Marcus Maddison back to the squad after an ankle knock caused him to miss the cup exit.

Craig Mackail-Smith and Harry Beautyman are back in the squad after they were ineligible at the Weston Homes Community Stadium last Sunday.

Posh had sold just under 700 tickets for the fixture in advance with fans able to pay on the day at a slightly increased rate.
