Peterborough United set to grow Female Football Development within the city.

Peterborough United are looking to enhance the development side of girls football in Peterborough. 

Our immediate aim is to set up development groups with a two year age banding from under 7- under 17s who will train weekly with higher level coaches and play against other professional clubs/PDC’s during school holidays.

This will mean players can still play & train for their grassroots clubs. The pathway we are able to offer female players in the city is a really exciting one.
 
Players can progress with us here at Peterborough United with our Futsal academy programme starting in September 2015. This is a BTEC sports course that includes bi-weekly fixtures against other pro clubs.
 
Upon completion of the BTEC they will have an opportunity to complete a two year foundation degree (sport development with coaching) through the open university while being mentored by senior Peterborough United staff. This will see the learners finish the course with a UEFA B coaching qualification and potential for employment opportunities within the club.

Time: 5pm-6pm
Ages: U7-U17
