Posh host Coventry City at London Road on Saturday (3.07pm) in Sky Bet League One action.

Peterborough United entertain Coventry City at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3.07pm) knowing that a win against the Sky Blues would strengthen their grip on sixth place in the Sky Bet League One table.

Darren Ferguson's men currently hold a six point advantage over their nearest challenges with five to play. The Sky Blues would be in seventh place had it not been for their 10-point deduction for their financial problems.

It could prove to be a shoot-out between the division's hottest striking talents with Calum Wilson and Britt Assombalonga fighting it out at the top of the charts. The pair are level on 21 league goals for the season going into the final five games of the regular season.

In terms of team selection, the Posh boss has no fresh injury worries to contend with and can welcome back Lloyd Isgrove (slight knock) and Joe Newell (back from suspension) into the squad.

Ferguson said: 'When we faced Coventry on Boxing Day, I felt they would have a real go for the play-offs, but they have lost a few players and are not as close as I thought they might be, but make no mistake, they are a good side and it will be a tough game.

'The lad Wilson is a talented striker, he is quick and has scored a lot of goals this season. We each have a front man at the top of the goalscoring charts so it could make for an open encounter on Saturday.

'I was really pleased with the crowd on Tuesday and hopefully that performance, particularly in the second half will attract some of those back on Saturday as we really need the fans support between now and the end of the season,' Ferguson said.
