The football club are looking to join forces with local primary and secondary schools across the region ahead of the new season.

The Football Club are looking to join forces with Primary and Secondary schools in the county, a partnership which will see every single child and teacher in the school which signs up, be invited to four home matches during the 2014/15 campaign absolutely free of charge. Not only that, but each person will receive a plus one to bring along with them.

Marketing Executive Neil Gilby told theposh.com: 'The youth in this city is the future of our Football Club, I want to walk around Peterborough and see kids wearing Posh shirts as opposed to your Arsenal’s, Liverpool’s and Manchester United's.

'The first step to this is to ensure that every single child is aware of what they have on their door step and with this we have created our schools partnership programme. Not only will every child and a parent be able to watch 4 matches for FREE but we will also use our players to come into the schools for educational talks, Q and A's and presentations, which to me is massively important to this scheme.'

School’s which sign up will also receive a signed shirt by the squad as well as being offered the opportunity to sell match day tickets whilst retaining 10% of all monies taken helping raise much needed funds to our local schools. This could potentially see an extra 1,400 at every home match next season as we look to create the new generation of Posh fan.
