Posh host Milton Keynes Dons at London Road on Saturday (3pm) in Skybet League One.
Peterborough United entertain the Milton Keynes Dons at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm) as the Skybet League One campaign continues.
It is the first meeting between the two sides since Posh progressed into the play-off final at Old Trafford and MK boss Karl Robinson has been vocal in the media this week about the penalty that led to Grant McCann's goal in the first leg at stadium: mk
Robinson said: 'I am still bitter about the play-off defeat. I felt we were cheated out of the tie. The referee made an embarrassing decision at the end of the first game which cost us.
'We then went to London Road very angry and very bitter even though we were ahead. We actually didn’t really turn up. I think I’m public enemy number one in Peterborough. I don’t know what I’ve said or done, but I know it’s a place where I’m not liked.
'I know it will be hostile, but our players will be up for it. I am going to Peterborough with as good a team as I’ve ever had,' Robinson said.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson played down the significance of the play-off victory and insists it is just 'three points to play for'.
'I won't be mentioning the play-off games in my pre-match team talk. It is irrelevant. A lot has changed at both clubs since then, I am not too sure how many players remain, so we will be treating it as another game with three points at stake,' Ferguson said.
The Posh boss has no fresh injury worries to contend with. Danny Kearns is expected to overcome a knock while Tommy Rowe came through the 3-0 win over Bristol City unscathed after making his return from an ankle injury.
