Posh head to Gresty Road to face Crewe Alexandra on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
Peterborough United will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend when they travel to Gresty Road to face Crewe Alexandra in Skybet League One (3pm).
Darren Ferguson's men suffered their first defeat of the campaign at the hands of Crawley Town last weekend and Ferguson will be looking for a reaction on Saturday.
'Crewe are a side that play good football, so we know what to expect. The players have been good in training this week and I have some difficult decisions to make in terms of team selection this weekend.
'Joe Newell comes back into contention after being out with a hand injury. Joe is probably the best fit to come in if Tommy doesn’t make it.
'Joe has had a slow start to the season due to injury and I need him to kick on now. He will definitely be in the squad for Saturday. I have to admit he frustrates me more than any other player here. He possesses so much natural ability, but I have to get it out of him somehow.
'I’m confident I can do that, but in football it really comes down to the player. Joe showed glimpses of his talent in the Championship last season when he was outstanding on occasions, but he has to learn to play well on a consistent basis,' Ferguson said.
Midfielder Tommy Rowe is rated as 'touch and go' for the game after picking up an ankle injury against Crawley. Danny Kearns has overcome a knock and has travelled.
Posh had sold over 300 tickets in advance for the game with no price rise on the day.
