Posh host unbeaten Preston North End at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

Peterborough United entertain Preston North End at London Road in Sky Bet League One on Saturday (3pm) with Darren Ferguson's men looking to continue their excellent start to the campaign.

The Lilywhites go into the game unbeaten and Simon Grayson's men will provide tough opponents for Posh following hard-fought wins against MK Dons and Rotherham United in recent weeks.

Posh boss Darren Ferguson is without suspended duo Nathaniel Knight-Percival and Mark Little who serve the final game of their three-match bans. Lee Tomlin is sidelined with an ankle injury, but everyone else is fit and available for selection. Paul Taylor could make his home debut.

Ferguson said: 'Both MK Dons and Rotherham were unbeaten prior to playing us and Preston are also unbeaten too. It will be a difficult game as Preston have made a good start to the season.

'Simon Grayson knows how to get promotion from this division. They have an experienced front man in Kevin Davies, so we know what to expect. They will get the ball forward to him and get around him, but they can also get the ball down and play too.'

The Posh boss also reiterated his praise of the club's supporters and insisted they have a big part to play this season. 'The fans were excellent against MK Dons and really helped us get over the line and at Rotherham they were very vocal and we need that again, starting on Saturday.'

One of the most popular bets with our bookmaker betbright.com/theposh is the winning margin with the Posh at 11/4 to win by one goal.

Tickets are available for Saturday's game at www.theposhtickets.com, via the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and at the London Road Box Office. Admission does rise on the day of the game.
