Chairman Darragh MacAnthony has announced he will be allowing fans to watch JPT tie for just a fiver.

Peterborough United’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy quarter-final tie with Dagenham and Redbridge on Tuesday 12th November (7.30pm) will cost just £5 for supporters to watch.

Chairman Darragh MacAnthony has made the decision to keep the price very low for the fixture with the Daggers in an attempt to create a vibrant atmosphere and give Darren Ferguson’s men the best opportunity of progressing into the semi-finals of the competition.

‘I was naturally disappointed not to reach the 8,000 mark on Saturday against Shrewsbury Town, but I am well aware of the financial pressures that supporters are feeling and wanted to reward our fan base and keep the admission price at just £5 for everyone.

‘I was pleased with the crowd for the last round against Brentford and I am confident that we can improve on those numbers for the quarter-finals. It is a competition we are taking very seriously and I am sure a big crowd can help Darren and his team on the night,’ MacAnthony said.

Tickets are now on sale at www.theposhtickets.com, via the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and in person at the London Road Box Office. There will be no price increase on the night, but MacAnthony has urged supporters to buy their tickets in advance to avoid the queues. Season ticket holders' seats will be reserved until 5pm on Monday 11th November.

‘It is vitally important that as many fans as possible buy their tickets in advance as this will help on the night ensuring everyone takes their seat for the 7.30pm kick-off,’ MacAnthony said.
