Youngster Tom Conlon scored a superb free-kick in the Development fixture with Hull City.
The Peterborough United development team drew 2-2 with Hull City at the Nene Park Academy on Wednesday afternoon with youngster Tom Conlon scoring a superb free-kick.
The midfielder rifled home from the edge of the area as Posh held their Premier League opponents, who included striker Nick Proschwitz in their starting line-up.
Posh fell behind early in the game, but rallied and Jaanai Gordon was twice denied by the Tigers goalkeeper, while Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, who looked lively in his 45-minute appearance, fired wide after good approach play from Conlon.
Conlon equalised after Joe Newell had been upended following a determined run, but Posh fell behind again after the break to a close-range finish.
Goalkeeper Joe Day made two smart stops while Nathaniel Knight-Percival cleared off the line, before substitute Shaquille McDonald levelled the scores at 2-2 with a clinical finish after dispossessing the centre back.
McDonald also saw an effort cleared off the line as Posh dominated towards the end.
