Posh host Wolverhampton Wanderers at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

Peterborough United will be looking to end their five-match league losing run when they face Wolverhampton Wanderers at London Road in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

Darren Ferguson's men suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of Brentford on Tuesday night when a late Clayton Donaldson effort secured the Bees all three points.

Posh have injury problems to contend with ahead of the fixture with the treatment room the busiest currently in operation at London Road.

Club captain Tommy Rowe underwent a knee operation on Wednesday and faces six weeks on the sidelines while full-back Craig Alcock is expected to be out for three weeks with a calf injury.

Danny Kearns suffered a re-occurrence of his hip injury and remains on the sidelines, while Joe Newell is two weeks away from a return. Britt Assombalonga will miss the clash with Wolves due to suspension.

Midfielder Kane Ferdinand has been recalled from his loan spell at Northampton Town a game early and will be in the 18-man squad at Ferguson's disposal.

'There are a lot of players unavailable to me for Saturday, but I know in my mind what the team will be and the shape that we will deploy. It is just a case of tweaking a few things.

'We lost the game on Tuesday due to individual errors, but we played well at times and we need to take that into the game with Wolves. Kenny Jackett has done a good job there, he has assembled a strong squad, but it is a game that we need to win, we know that,' Ferguson said.

Fans are advised that Saturday's game is ALL-TICKET with tickets on sale at www.theposhtickets.com, via the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and in person at the London Road Box Office.

There will be a Hall of Fame presentation prior to kick-off with Derek Dougan officially inducted by club historian Peter Lane.
