Darren Ferguson's men host Exeter City in the first round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

Peterborough United entertain Sky Bet League Two side Exeter City at London Road on Saturday (3pm) in the first round of the FA Cup with Budweiser.

Darren Ferguson has strengthened his squad ahead of the clash with the Grecians with the arrival of midfielder Hogan Ephraim on a one-month loan deal from Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

The former West Ham United man will go straight into the squad for the fixture, but Ferguson has hinted that he will start on the substitute's bench after just one day of full training with his new team-mates.

'Hogan is somebody that I have admired for a while and it is great to get him for a month and we will see what happens from there. He is a good player, he can play in a number of positions and he will be in the squad on Saturday.

'Sometimes it is nice to get a fresh face in the dressing room and he has fitted in well. The lads have worked very hard on the training ground and responded well to last week, but I think the time has come for us to let our actions on the pitch do the talking,' Ferguson said.

The Posh boss has hinted he will make changes to his starting line-up, but insisted that he will pick the best 'available' team for the fixture with Paul Tisdale's men.

'There will be changes from last week. I will pick the strongest possible team that I can with the players that are available. We have prepared for the game like we would do a league game, we want to have a good cup run,' Ferguson added.

Midfielder Daniel Kearns and defender Nathaniel Knight-Percival are sidelined due to injury, while Lee Tomlin is suspended.

Exeter are likely to include three former Posh players in their squad with Mathew Gill, Arron Davies and John O'Flynn set to travel.

Tickets are available for the game at www.theposhtickets.com, via the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and in person at the London Road Box Office. Tickets are priced at £15 for adults in advance (rising to £20 on the day), £10 for concessions and £5 for under 16s.
