Teenage striker Jaanai Gordon is currently training with West Ham United.

Highly-rated teenage striker Jaanai Gordon is currently training with Premier League side West Ham United and scored twice for the Hammers’ under 18 side in a recent 3-1 victory over Aston Villa.

Gordon, who is into a second week at the Boleyn Ground, was named Man of The Match in the victory as the Hammers came from behind to claim the win.

Villa appears to be an opposition that Gordon particularly enjoys facing as he terrorised that opposition for Posh in the FA Youth Cup at London Road last season, scoring twice in an emphatic home win.

The front man was named in an England under 19 squad, but had to withdraw due to injury and since then, has been on standby for the England under 19 squad on three separate occasions.

He made his debut for Posh as a 16-year-old in a Championship fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers and also featured in the fixture with Nottingham Forest at that level.

He was handed a start in the FA Cup tie with Norwich City and has attracted interest from a host of Premier League clubs in recent weeks.

He has also been in free-scoring form for the Posh Development side and was a regular on the bench for the first team in League One.
