Posh head to Bloomfield Road on Saturday for an npower Championship fixture against Blackpool (3pm).
Peterborough United travel to Bloomfield Road to face Blackpool in the npower Championship on Saturday (3pm) with Darren Ferguson's men looking to build on a their recent unbeaten run.
Posh made it four games without defeat following a 1-1 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road on Tuesday evening, while the Seasiders are on a similar run and recently defeated promotion-contenders Watford at Vicarage Road.
Midfielders Davide Petrucci and Alex Pritchard are still sidelined due to injury, but the pair are set to return to fitness ahead of the fixture with Cardiff City at the end of the month. Peter Grant is a long term absentee.
Ferguson said: 'We are going to have to take the conditions into our consideration for the starting line-up, because the pitch at Blackpool is appalling. It is the same for both sides though and we know we are going to have to battle.
'It is a good place to be around at Peterborough at the minute. The players are happy, they are confident and they are training very well so we can go into the game with a smile on our face, but we know that we have a tough game ahead,' Ferguson said.
Thomas Ince was the star of the show when the Seasiders won 4-1 at London Road earlier in the season. 'Thomas is a very good player and he was the threat earlier in the campaign, but we didn't mark him or look after him very well on that day.'
Posh have sold 254 tickets (as at 2.30pm on Thursday) in advance for the game, but it is not all-ticket and there is no price rise on the day.
