Peterborough United host Championship side Watford in a pre-season friendly at London Road on Wednesday evening (7.30pm) as preparations continue for the new league campaign.
Darren Ferguson is set to include several youngsters in his starting line-up for the clash with the Hornets with Shaquille McDonald, Jermaine Anderson and Jevani Brown all expected to be included. The trio sat out the win over Northampton Town.
Midfielder Joe Newell is still struggling with a dead leg, but defender Gabriel Zakuani could return after an ankle injury. Peter Grant will continue his comeback from a long-term injury.
Ferguson said: 'The lads that were not involved on Saturday against Northampton will be involved against Watford. It will be a really good test for us, Watford are an excellent footballing side, they get the ball down and it will be a good game for us.'
