Posh host Premier League newcomers Hull City in a pre-season friendly at London Road on Monday evening (7.45pm)
Peterborough United entertain Premier League newcomers Hull City at London Road on Monday evening (7.45pm) in a fixture that will see the return of George Boyd.
Boyd departed for the Tigers earlier in the year and this will be the first time he has returned to the stadium as an opposing player.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson said: 'It will be great to see George again. I am sure he is looking forward to testing himself as a Premier League player and I am sure the Posh fans will come and show their appreciation for what he did for the football club.'
Ferguson has confirmed that he is likely to give the majority of his squad 45 minutes each as final preparations are made ahead of the first league game of the season on Saturday with Swindon Town visiting London Road.
The Tigers have strengthened their attacking options during the close season with the arrival of Danny Graham from Sunderland and the recent addition of Yannick Sagbo.
The Ivory Coast striker joins from French club Evian. The 25-year-old joins the recently promoted Premier League side for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.
Admission into the game costs just £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Season ticket holders can gain access for just £5 if they buy online at www.theposhtickets.com before midnight on Sunday.
