Peterborough United face Shelbourne in the first pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening (7.45pm) with Darren Ferguson fielding two different XIs for each 45 minutes.
The squad returned to pre-season training on Monday 24th June and the players will travel to Tolka Park for the fixture with the League of Ireland outfit.
Midfielder Grant McCann, who has committed his future to the club, said: 'I am really looking forward to the game, I think all of the lads are. Pre-season is about fitness and I think everyone will get a bit of a run-out, so it should be good.'
Posh face UCD in 24 hours and those that are not involved in tonight's game will be involved against UCD.
