Posh And Princebuild In Partnership

10 July 2013

Posh and Princebuild make a winning team!

The football club are delighted to announce that  Princebuild, a family-owned construction company based in Peterborough, have agreed to be the ‘back of shirt’ sponsor for the 2013-2014 campaign. The agreement will see the company's name and logo emblazoned on the back of the team's home and away kit, as well as on various advertising boards around the stadium.

Princebuild Ltd was established more than 40 years ago and now employs around 200 people across six offices based in the east of England. The company, which specialises in construction, refurbishment, maintenance and renewables, is dedicated to making a positive impact, economically, environmentally and socially, within the communities it works.

Director, Jonathan Pudney, who has been a Posh season ticket holder for the last 37 years, said:  ‘Like ourselves Peterborough United has a great team who compete to be at the very top of their game. We have been impressed with the ambition Posh owner Darragh MacAnthony has shown over the years, in creating a successful football club with the desire to succeed regardless of the competition and difficult economic times that they are faced with.

‘We recognise that this strive for excellence also mirrors our company's ethos and like Posh we have an outstanding team who work together to achieve the best possible results. We have sponsored various Posh games over the years but when the opportunity became available to support the club more visually, we jumped at the chance to continue our support for business in the community as we are proud to be from Peterborough and proud to be Posh."

Posh Commercial Manager Alex Harris said: 'We are delighted to have the Princebuild logo feature on the Peterborough United playing kit for the 2013-2014 season.  Princebuild are a construction company with an excellent reputation on both a local and national level and we are looking forward to working together on what we hope will be a promotion winning season.’
