Posh host Premier League side Norwich City at London Road on Saturday afternoon.
Peterborough United entertain Premier League opposition in the form of Norwich City at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm) in the third round of the FA Cup with Budweiser.
The Canaries, who were friendly opposition for Posh in pre-season, are likely to 'mix up' their starting line-up for the fixture with Darren Ferguson's men, but former Posh stars Ryan Bennett and Russell Martin are expected to be involved.
Posh go into the game on the back of four wins from five matches including the latest success, a 2-1 victory over Barnsley on New Years Day.
Striker Dwight Gayle is cup-tied, Lee Tomlin is suspended and Gabriel Zakuani is away on international duty with Congo DR at the African Cup of Nations. Peter Grant and Kgosi Ntlhe are both long-term injuries.
Ferguson, who spoke to the press on Friday morning, said: 'Norwich have a very talented squad, so whichever XI they select will be full of quality individuals so we know it will be a difficult match for us, but the FA Cup provides a different kind of atmosphere and it is a game we are looking forward to.
'The club have sold over 12,500 tickets for the game so it will be a superb atmosphere and I am sure the fans will be up for it. The players will be too, I have to make changes because of personnel being unavailable, but the lads have trained well,' Ferguson said.
Tickets remain on sale for the fixture at the London Road Box Office, online at www.theposhtickets.com and via the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and it is strongly advised that tickets are purchased in advance.
There will be no cash turnstiles at the South Stand on the day of the fixture. If any tickets remain for that stand, they will need to be purchased from the Ticket Office. Turnstiles will be open from 1pm.
