Posh head to the City Ground on Saturday for an npower Championship fixture against Nottingham Forest (3pm).

It is back to npower Championship action for Peterborough United this weekend as Darren Ferguson's men travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest (3pm).

Posh have won four out of the last five league fixtures, but suffered a 3-0 defeat to Norwich City in the last competitive action.

Forest, who are now managed by former Aston Villa chief Alex McGleish are expected to be busy during the January transfer window and new arrivals are not ruled out for the Reds before the meeting on Saturday.

Posh new signings Scott Wootton and Davide Petrucci go straight into the squad for the fixture, with only long-term injury absentees Peter Grant and Kgosi Ntlhe unavailable for selection. Lee Tomlin is suspended.

Manager Darren Ferguson said: 'The game against Norwich was disappointing, but it has gone now and we are looking forward to the next game, which is Nottingham Forest. They have a talented squad, but I am focussed on what we can do to hurt them.

'The lads have trained well this week and I am sure it will be an entertaining game. Scott and Davide will go straight into the squad while young Jaanai will be travelling too. He was excellent in the youth team win over Aston Villa,' Ferguson said.

Tickets are on sale for the game until 3pm on Friday. The game is ALL-TICKET for Posh fans. Just under 1,400 had been sold up until 1.30pm on Thursday.
