Jack Hendry and his team-mates cannot wait for the FA Youth Cup third round tie with Aston Villa.
The Peterborough United under 18s entertain Aston Villa under 18s in the rescheduled FA Youth Cup at London Road tonight (7pm).
Skipper Jack Hendry said: ‘We were all disappointed that the last game didn’t go ahead, but we are more determined to win this time, especially to get a home result. I’m buzzing for the game, I know we are all really looking forward to it.
‘It is going to be a tough task, but we have prepared well. Myself and many other players have experience playing stadium football, so hopefully this can give us an edge against Villa. A big crowd is really important to us, knowing there will be a decent crowd will definitely give the boys a lift.
‘I have my mum, dad and sister coming to watch the game, they have come down from Scotland, so it will be really good to see them. Lots of my team mates also have family coming to support us as well. Hopefully, we can put on a good performance and show everyone what we can do,’ Hendry said.
Tickets are priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions in advance with the price rising to £5 for adults and £2 for concessions on the evening of the game.
