Posh make the journey north to face Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium on Tuesday night (8pm).
Peterborough United make the trip to the Reebok Stadium on Tuesday evening to face Bolton Wanderers, a side fresh from a 4-1 home success over Hull City at the weekend.
The npower Championship fixture kicks-off at 8pm. Posh go into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Birmingham City at London Road, but know that three points can lift them off the bottom of the table.
Midfielder Davide Petrucci has travelled with the squad and is likely to be involved after missing the last two fixtures with a slight hamstring injury. Alex Pritchard and Peter Grant are sidelined due to injury. Kgosi Nthle is expected to feature in a friendly this week as he continues his comeback from injury.
Manager Darren Ferguson said: 'The games come thick and fast and we know the schedule that we have and we are looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead. Bolton will be a difficult game and they had a good win at the weekend.'
Posh have the chance to do the double over the Trotters after a 5-4 victory at London Road earlier in the campaign. Posh were comfortable winners that day despite a late fightback from Dougie Freedman's men.
Posh had sold just under 150 tickets in advance for the game, but fans are able to pay on the turnstiles. Fans wishing to travel to the game on the night are advised to go to Turnstile E from 7pm to purchase a ticket.
