Regan Carthey scored twice as the Posh youngsters finalised their pre-season schedule with a win over Notts County.
The Peterborough United under 18s concluded their pre-season campaign with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Notts County at the Nene Park Academy on Saturday morning.
Regan Carthey scored twice in the win, while midfielder Tom Conlon continued his excellent form with another superb free-kick.
Posh dominated for long periods in the game and could have added to their goal tally, but manager Gavin Strachan was pleased with his side's display against the Magpies.
Carthey was clinical in the box to give Posh the advantage before Conlon took centre stage with a left-foot free-kick. Carthey claimed the third goal, although Strachan admitted the defender may have got the final touch.
Posh open their league season on Saturday morning against Portsmouth after an unbeaten pre-season.
