Central defender Gabriel Zakuani believes the next two games are the biggest of his Posh career.

Influential Peterborough United centre back Gabriel Zakuani believes Saturday's clash with Sheffield Wednesday and next Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace are the biggest two games of his Posh career.

The defender, who is expected to be fit after suffering an injury in the defeat at Derby County, has also called on the club's fans to be the 12th man when the Owls visit London Road on Saturday (5.20pm).

‘We have two games left and the fans can be that 12th man. Sometimes they can suck the ball into the net and we need them more than ever. I have been here five seasons and this is the biggest two games of my career at London Road.

We all know what we have to do. Looking back at the season, we would have definitely taken this scenario. We know it is in our own hands, we know what we have to do and we have to finish the job off. You want destiny in your own hands and we have put ourselves in that position. It is up to s as players now to make sure that work doesn’t go to waste,' Zakuani said.

You can read more of the interview with Zakuani in Saturday's match day magazine, which will be on sale around the ground for £3.

Both remaining fixtures are ALL-TICKET for Posh fans with tickets available at www.theposhtickets.com, via the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and at the Box Office.
