Posh host Brighton and Hove Albion at London Road on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
Peterborough United host play-off contenders Brighton and Hove Albion at London Road on Tuesday evening (7.45pm), in a vital npower Championship fixture.
Darren Ferguson's men moved out of the drop zone with a 3-2 victory over Watford, the ninth match in a row without defeat and if the club avoid a defeat, it will be the longest run without a loss at this level since season 1992-1993.
Brighton are handily placed in the league table after a 2-0 win at Middlesbrough on Saturday and Gus Poyet's men look for an extension to their campaign with a play-off spot likely.
Posh are without the services of full-back Mark Little who suffered a hamstring injury in the win over the Hornets. He will undergo a scan to determine the full extent of the damage, but has been ruled out of the game and Saturday's fixture at Derby County.
Michael Bostwick is also unavailable and his season could be over after suffering a setback in his attempts to recover from a hamstring injury. Jack Payne has a 'slim' chance of being fit.
Ferguson said: 'Brighton are a good side, similar to Watford in terms of the way they play football on the floor and it will be another attractive game. We lost 1-0 at the Amex Stadium earlier in the season, but to be honest, we were poor on that occasion and probably deserved to lose by more.
'Having said that, they have beaten us twice late on in recent matches between the the two sides. The lads are in a good place at the minute, they are buzzing and very much looking forward to the game,' Ferguson said.
