Danny Swanson has overcome a thigh strain and will be available for selection at Hull City.
Midfielder Danny Swanson has declared himself fit and available for selection as Peterborough United prepare for the trip to Hull City in the npower Championship on Saturday (3pm).
The Scot has been sidelined with a thigh injury, but has trained this week and manager Darren Ferguson has hinted he could be in line for a starting berth at the KC Stadium.
'We had a really good session yesterday (Wednesday). The fun was back in the training which it hadn’t been for a while. The gaffer called a meeting and said we couldn’t have any doom and gloom around the place.
'Things aren’t great on the pitch just now but I’m sure we will turn it around. The fans pay their money and are entitled to have their say. If I was going to watch a team that had lost their first seven games I might be a bit worried, but I don’t think it is that time yet here.
'Once we get the first win we’ll be fine. I’m sure we can then get a run under our belts.
'The second season in a league always seems to be more difficult. The boys are under a bit of pressure but I’ve enjoyed the tastes of the Championship I’ve had so far,' Swanson said.
