Posh head to the KC Stadium in search of the first points of the season.

Peterborough United are in npower Championship action at the KC Stadium on Saturday as Hull City provide the opposition for Darren Ferguson's men (3pm).

The Tigers have been in impressive form in front of their own supporters, while Posh are desperate to open their account after seven straight defeats leaving them rooted to the foot of the table.

Ferguson said after the defeat to Wolves that it will be a big week for the players and revealed to the press on Thursday that the squad have been undetaking double sessions in preparation for the fixture with Steve Bruce's men.

'It has been a good week. The players have trained with intensity and have been doing double sessions. We also had a reserve team fixture this week and the players have put themselves in contention for a place in the team.

'We are looking forward to the game. It will be tough because Hull have started well, particularly at home. I watched Hull at Leicester and Leicester played very well that day and deserved the victory.

'On Thursday, every member of the squad trained and that is great for me to have everyone available for selection,' Ferguson said.

Striker David Hibbert is close to full fitness and will participate in several reserve team fixtures before being considered for the first team. Tommy Rowe and Danny Swanson are fit after injuries and will travel to the KC Stadium.
