Posh head to Hillsborough on Saturday (3pm) looking for a third successive npower Championship win.
Peterborough United visit Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday (3pm) looking for a third successive npower Championship victory.
Following back to back home wins over Huddersfield Town and Derby County, manager Darren Ferguson will be keen for his side to continue their excellent recent form against the Owls.
Sheffield Wednesday recorded an emphatic 3-0 victory over Ipswich Town last weekend, which halted an alarming run, which has seen them drop into the relegation zone.
'I have watched Sheffield Wednesday recently and I don't think they have deserved to drop points in some of the fixtures they have played and they were very good in the win over Ipswich.
'They have some excellent players, Barkley in midfield is one of the most talented 18-year-olds in the country and they have done very well to get him. They have a good manager who will have them organised and they also have a long throw too.
'We have won four games in six and will go there looking to continue our run, I have spoken about the standards we have set ourselves and we cannot fall below those standards,' Ferguson said.
George Boyd and Michael Bostwick both trained on Thursday after picking up knocks against Derby, while Tommy Rowe is rated as 50-50 to make the trip to Hillsborough following an ankle injury.
Posh have happy memories from visiting Hillsborough - Ferguson's men won 4-1 in League One with George Boyd netting twice. Lee Tomlin was also on target that evening. 'It was a good win, but it is a while ago now and will have no bearing on Saturday's performance.'
