The club are saddened to learn of the death of former player Keith Ripley.

It is with deep regret that we have been informed of the passing of former player Keith Ripley.

Keith Ripley passed away on Monday 5th November 2012 at 10.00am in Snydale care home Normanton after a long illness with a very rare disease called “Myasthenia gravis”, aged 77 years.
 
All his family were with him at his bedside when he passed away. Keith leaves behind children : Keith Jnr, Corinne, Gail, Mark, Liona and André and belated son Peter.
 
The funeral will take place at 10.00am on Friday 16th November at Pontefract crematorium

Keith played for Posh season 1960/61 to 1961/62 making a total appearance of 94 games, scoring 14 goals.   Prior to joining Posh Keith played at Leeds United, Norwich City and Mansfield Town (from whom he signed for Posh).  After leaving Posh he joined Doncaster Rovers.
