Posh host Michael Appleton's Blackpool at London Road on Saturday (3pm).
Peterborough United will look to build on an excellent performance at the Valley on Tuesday evening when they entertain Blackpool at London Road on Saturday afternoon in the npower Championship (3pm).
Taking the positives from the unfortunate 2-0 defeat will be the order of the day for boss Darren Ferguson and his players as they prepare for the visit of the Seasiders, who are among the draw specialists in the league.
Ferguson, who spoke to the press on Thursday, said: 'We just need to be a bit more ruthless. I was very pleased with the performance at Charlton, but ultimately we came away with nothing, so we take the positives from that display into this weekend's clash with Blackpool.
'Blackpool are another strong side with strength in depth and in Thomas Ince they have a very intelligent player who is fine form. I know Michael Appleton well and he will get his side playing attractive football.'
The Posh boss confirmed that Tommy Rowe is available for selection after injury, but Saido Berhaino is a major doubt with a knee injury and Michael Bostwick is suspended. Gabriel Zakuani or Craig Alcock are on standby to step in.
Blackpool could be without Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Matty Phillips for the fixture. Both have been sidelined with injury of late.
Tickets for the fixture are available on www.theposhtickets.com, through the 24-hour hotline 0844 847 1934 and at the London Road Box Office.
