AFC Bournemouth reserves defeat Posh at the Nene Park Training Ground.
The Peterborough United reserves were desperately unlucky to lose their latest fixture with AFC Bournemouth claiming a 2-0 victory at the Nene Park Academy.
Both goals for the visitors came on the counter attack, with Posh creating a host of chances, particularly in the second half with only wasteful finishing and good goalkeeping denying the hosts.
Jonson Clarke-Harris curled over from 18-yards and fired a free-kick straight into the wall while substitute Matt Sparrow beat two defenders only to fire over from the edge of the area with just the goalkeeper to beat.
James Sage glanced a header wide from an impressive Tom Conlon set-piece while Jaanai Gordon saw a shot blocked.
At the other end, Joe Day was in decent form, making a host of good saves late on, but he was powerless to stop either of the goals, the latter of the two coming in second half stoppage time.
Young midfielder Jermaine Anderson was injured early on in the fixture. His injury will be assessed over the next few days.
Posh: Day, Butt, Hendry, Zakuani, Sage, Ferdinand, Anderson (sub Carter), Coulson (sub Sparrow), Clarke-Harris, Gordon (sub Conlon), Carthy.
