Posh travel to the Valley on Tuesday night to face Charlton Athletic (7.45pm).

Peterborough United face Charlton Athletic at the Valley on Tuesday evening (7.45pm) looking to build on the 1-1 draw at Portman Road against Ipswich Town at the weekend.

Darren Ferguson's men can move off the bottom of the npower Championship table with a victory against the Addicks, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Ferguson has rated striker Saido Berahino's chances of being fit for the fixture as 50-50 after he was substituted in the second half against the Tractor Boys, while Tommy Rowe is unlikely to be fit as he battles an ankle problem.

'Saido has a knee problem, but it is not serious. We haven't ruled him out of Tuesday's game, but if he misses that one he will be fit for the weekend. I thought Dwight Gayle did well when he came on, he has trained well and knows the way we want to play.

'Dwight has got good pace and a decent spring in the air, which he didn't get the chance to demonstrate on Saturday. I was also very impressed with George Thorne's display and also how well he linked up with Grant McCann in midfield.

'Charlton will be another tough test as they all are in the Championship. They have a strong squad, you only have to look at the substitutes bench to see the quality. They have brought in Frimpong from Arsenal who is a very good player and Bradley Wright-Phillips is a good goal-scorer,' Ferguson said.

Posh were beaten 3-2 at the Valley the last time the two sides met with Lee Tomlin and Craig Mackail-Smith on target for Ferguson's men.

The game is not all-ticket but tickets are available to purchase from the London Road Box Office until 12pm on Tuesday.

Admission prices are £15 for adults, £10 for seniors (over 60s) and under 21s with under 18s admitted for £5.
