Posh look to bounce back from the defeat at Sheffield Wednesday when they travel to Brighton.

Peterborough United travel to the Amex Stadium on Tuesday evening (7.45pm) to face Brighton and Hove Albion in the npower Championship.

Darren Ferguson's men will be looking to bounce back from the 2-1 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, while the Seagulls were held to a 2-2 draw with Leeds United in the televised Championship fixture on Friday night.

Posh will be without the services of young defender Kgosi Ntlhe who sustained a serious injury at Hillsborough. He will undergo a scan to determine the full extent of the injury on Thursday.

Tommy Rowe is unlikely to be fit for the fixture so Joe Newell is favourite to take the left-wing back role. Striker Emile Sinclair has a 'small chance' of making the substitutes bench after a spell on the sidelines with a thigh injury.

Ferguson said: 'Brighton are a big club, they have a tremendous fan base and they play good football, so it will be a test for us, but we are looking forward to it. I have watched the video back from Saturday and I felt we were in control for long periods of that game, but we lost concentration for the first goal.

'I felt we were unfortunate to lose at the Amex last season, the lad Harley scored an unbelievable free-kick that day. Obviously we will be coming up against Craig Mackail-Smith again, everybody knows what a good player he is and he was a pleasure to work with at Peterborough,' Ferguson said.

The game is ALL-TICKET for Posh fans with tickets on sale until 12pm on Tuesday. Just under 200 had been sold up until 2.30pm on Monday.
