Viagogo makes tracks into the npower Championship with Peterborough United.

viagogo, the world’s largest ticket marketplace, today announced a new partnership with Peterborough United Football Club. The new service, launching for the 2012/2013 season, gives The Posh’s fans the chance to buy tickets for matches at London Road. The Posh’s supporters will be able to resell match day tickets for games that they can’t attend through viagogo’s secure marketplace. Peterborough’s fans living abroad will also now be able to buy tickets safely and securely through one of viagogo’s 28 local language websites.

A spokesperson for Peterborough United commented: 'We have a hugely loyal fan base here at The Posh, who turn out every Saturday to see the team play. But every fan has commitments from time to time that mean they have to miss a game. Our partnership with viagogo lets fans resell their ticket for a match they can’t make, recoup some money and let another fan watch the match in their place.'

Ed Parkinson, Head of Marketing at viagogo said: 'viagogo is the gateway to European football tickets – we offer fans access to tickets for almost every top flight football team in Europe. These new partnerships with Birmingham and Peterborough reinforce our marketing leading position.'
