Ryan Bennett moved between the two clubs during the summer while the two clubs have also faced each other in pre-season friendly action.

Boss Darren Ferguson said: 'It is a home tie, first and foremost, so that is what you look for. They are a Premier League side and are in good form at the minute and there is a connection there with Ryan Bennett at Norwich.

'Obviously the game is a little way off, but I am sure it will be a good crowd, Norwich will bring a large contingent I am sure, so it one to look forward to.'

Details of the cup-tie including pricing, will be announced later this week.
