Junior Posh Party A Success

20 December 2012

Pictures available to purchase of the Junior Posh Christmas Party.

Junior Posh held the annual Christmas Party at London Road on Tuesday night and a capacity crowd were in attendance with the Peterborough United squad, Peter Burrow and Santa Claus all present.

The event, which was held in the Caroline Hand Executive Suite, the Sponsors Lounge and the Boardroom, saw a total of 144 children attend. Every child met the squad to obtain autographs and photographs while members received a goodie bag from Santa.

Club photographer Joe Dent was on hand to capture that special moment as members posed with Father Christmas and the League One play-off trophy in the boardroom. Those photographs are now available to purchase at www.theposhpics.com.

Junior Posh co-ordinator Phil Adlam said: 'It was a fantastic night and great to see so many kids enjoying themselves at the party. It was pleasing to see so many Posh shirts worn and the comments suggest it was an enjoyable evening for all.

'I would like to thank Joe Dent for taking the photographs on the evening and every one is now available to buy. I would also like to thank Vash and her bar staff for all her hard work and support and the volunteers who helped make the evening run smoothly.

'Mary Faxon, Liz Elsom, Luisa D'Angelo, Maria Gould, Emma Green, Adam Gould and Steve Anthony all worked free of charge and I would also add my thanks to Peter Burrow and of course Santa for their time,' Adlam said.
