Posh travel to Premier League side Reading in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
Peterborough United travel to Premier League side Reading in the second round of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday evening (8pm).
The Royal's were expected to make changes to their starting line-up for the tie, but as the Premier League clash at Sunderland was postponed at the weekend and they are not in action this Saturday, they could pick a strong XI for the visit of Posh.
Darren Ferguson has hinted that he will make a couple of changes to his side following the 2-1 home reverse to Leeds United with midfielder Danny Swanson pushing for a first start.
Swanson impressed as a second half substitute and could be given the nod in midfield. Ferguson has added teenage trio Michael Richens, Dan Lawlor and Jaanai Gordon to his squad, but Daniel Kearns, David Hibbert, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing,, Tyrone Barnett and Tommy Rowe are still sidelined.
The game is not all-ticket, so fans can pay on the turnstiles with prices set at £15 for adults, £10 for senior citizens, 17-21-year-olds and £5 for under 16s.
Ferguson commented: 'The results in the league mean I may totally freshen things up for the cup game.
'It is important we get something at Birmingham in our next league game and that will be in my mind when I pick the team for Tuesday.'
