Two goals in the second half ultimately prove enough for Luton Town at the Weston Homes Stadium.

Peterborough United suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Luton Town at the Weston Homes Stadium in front of close to 11,000 supporters as the Hatters found the back of the net twice in the second half.

A header from a corner and a close-range finish following a defensive mix-up condemned Posh to defeat on an afternoon where they had their fair share of opportunities in the first half.

Brandon Khela's left-footed effort from 20-yards on four minutes proved to be the first bit of work for goalkeeper Josh Keeley.

At the other end, Christ Makosso side-footed over from 10-yards before Posh appealed in vain for a penalty as Abraham Odoh took a tumble in the box.

Keeley did well to beat away a fierce effort from Bradley Ihionvien on 24 minutes while Cian Hayes saw a shot blocked after a well-worked Posh corner.

Luton opened hte scoring on the hour mark as defender ANDERSEN was afforded time in the box to head home past Nick Bilokapic.

Mills sent a free-kick wide of the target on 72 minutes but just over 10 minutes later, Jordan CLARK took advantage of some poor defending to double the lead. 

Bilokapic did well to beat away a shot from Makosso in injury time as Posh were beaten .
