The word 'Legend' is very much appropriate when you describe goalkeeper Mark Tyler.
Back for a second spell at the ABAX Stadium, goalkeeper Mark Tyler now combines his playing role with a coaching role and at the age of 39, has over 700 career appearances under his belt including over 400 league appearances for Posh. After making his first team debut for Posh in 1994 against Barry Fry's Birmingham City, Tyler has not looked back, becoming arguably one of the club's best goalkeepers.
The custodian, who completed his early football education with home-town club Norwich City, represented England at under 17 and under 20 level and was in between the sticks when Posh clinched promotion at Wembley Stadium in 2000, putting in a superb performance against Darlington on a wet and wild night in the Division Three play-off final.
