Niall Mason had an interesting youth career. He spent time with Real Madrid’d academy, and also spent time on the books at Al Sadd in Qatar.
He then went on to play for the academies of Blackburn, Southampton and Aston Villa.
His first venture into professional football, though, was with Doncaster Rovers. He initially joined them on loan from Villa in 2016, before signing permanently the following season.
He played 120 times for Donny and will provide another good option at right back for the Posh.
