FreeKicks Foundation have generously offered to work with Peterborough United Foundation for these events. They will be subsidising the costs of the sessions for children in years 3-5, meaning sessions in Spring Half Term will be available for half price!

Peterborough United Foundation's Chief Executive Officer, Gill Wignall, said the following on the generosity of the FreeKicks Foundation: "I would like to thank FreeKicks Foundation for the support they are giving us, and we are delighted to be working with them once again. They do amazing work with disadvantaged children and young adults all around the country, providing football themed experiences. Thanks to their generosity our holiday camps at May half term will be half price for children in years 3-5."

Steve Thorpe, Founder of FreeKicks Foundation, said: "We are delighted to be working with The Posh Foundation to provide places at June’s Holiday Courses. We think it’s hugely important, after all that’s happened over the last year or so, that children get to experience these wonderful opportunities. Posh become the fourth club we are working with (alongside Burton Albion, Swindon Town and Walsall) to provide places on such schemes."

Any attending child will need to bring a non-fizzy drink, (packed lunch for children in Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5), appropriate clothing for the weather and playing outside, and footwear suitable for grass and astro turf including shin pads.  Prices are £10 per child per half day (Children in school years Reception to Year 2), £10 per child for the full day (Children in school Years 3 to 5), thanks to our friends at Free Kicks Foundation.

Due to COVID restrictions, groups are being separated by age and numbers attending limited.  Over the duration of the school holiday, sessions are being offered to boys and girls of all abilities aged between 4 and 16 years of age.  All courses will be delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaches who will put on a variety of fun-based football activities. All coaches hold up-to-date safeguarding children and emergency aid qualifications and enhanced DBS certificates.  The foundation has also written COVID-19 protocols, which are available prior to booking on request, and will be sent to all parents prior to the session.
