This summer the Peterborough United Foundation were granted funding from the Premier League to deliver the Premier League Kicks initiative.
Premier League Kicks is one of the Premier League's flagship community programs which uses the power of football and the values of sport and participation to help hard-to-reach youngsters, who are at risk of not being in employment or training once mainstream education is over for them.
The programme aims to build upon community values via the development of young people’s potential, to help guide them towards a range of healthy and constructive activities with long term benefits.
So far we have agreements to work in Honey Hill pupil referral unit, Ormiston Bushfield Academy, Stanground Academy and St Johns Fisher so far this academic year and would welcome further opportunities. We also have a Kicks session running on Fridays 830pm - 930pm at the training ground for age 13-17 that is free to attend. An important element of the initiative is it is FREE OF CHARGE to schools and participants.
